Functional Analyst Securities Handling (Ref 1358FASH)

1. Context of the mission

We are actively searching a functional/technical analyst to support the domain IS/Operations-Securities. The functional/technical analyst will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below:

Knowledge on back office activities wrt securities handling
Analytical skills to understand business requirements and translate them into functional/technical analysis documents in the domain of securities handling
Communication skills to actively participate in the discussions with the business representatives
Experience in functional testing, using the tool Quality Centre

2. Period mission

Start Date: 01/09/2009. Duration: 4 months with possible extension.

3. Language requirement

Sound knowledge of English, French and/or Dutch.

4. Localisation of the job

Brussels (Manhattan building near North station).

5. Required knowledge and experience

Required level and content of education University graduate or A1 graduate with experience

Personal skills

Mandatory: Analytical + communication skills.

Preferable:

Business experience required Mandatory: Knowledgeable on back office systems for securities handling

Preferable:

Technical experience required

Mandatory: Preferable: Background as IT technical analyst and/or developer

Functional experience required

Mandatory: 1-3 years of professional experience in the domain of securities handling Preferable: Knowledge of mainframe environment

6. Objective of the job

Functional (and possibly technical) design and testing of functionalities/modules within the domain of securities handling.
