Functional Analyst (ref: 1350FADM)

1.Context of the mission

The candidate will work in the IS (Information Systems) department, in the Financial and Common Services team on a major program. The team develops and maintains multi-tiers applications based on a mainframe technical architecture (Cobol/DB2) and OO technology in the Document & Case Management domains.

Start date: September. Duration: one year with possible extension

Brussels, near North and Central Station.

5. Required knowledge and experience

Preferable:

Mandatory: -Minimum 3 years experience in Document Management and at least in one of the following domains : -Output Management -Business Process Management (BPM)

Mandatory: -C# and ASP.net Preferable: -Java

Mandatory: -Minimum 3 years of experience in functional design -UML experience -Object Oriented Analysis & Design -Client/server environment (MF)

Preferable: -Notions of COBOL -Prince 2

6. Mission objective

The functional analyst will produce detailed functional designs based on business requirements and the functional architecture. He will further explain his analysis to the analyst-programmer who will implement the process. The analysis will be object oriented and aims to define service oriented components. The produced components will be reusable, as generic as possible, and fulfill all SLA requirements. The design will also include technical architecture analyses. The functional analyst will prepare functional test cases based on the requirements and perform a part of the testing before delivery to the Business. He will also estimate the time to work, to implement and to test his part of the project.
