Senior Functional Analyst (ref: 1357SFA)

1. Context of the mission

The senior functional analyst will be working in the Merchant Banking Channels Team. This team will be facing major challenges in 2009 – 2010 and is as such searching experienced functional analyst.

The "Merchant Banking Channels” division is responsible for the electronic channels for the customers.. It includes the eBanking (payments, reporting and contracting), the public websites & the transactional services (web).

2. Period mission

Start Date : ASAP Duration : 4 months with possible extension.

3. Language requirement

Preferably bilingual FR-NL. Good knowledge of technical (written) English needed.

4. Localisation of the job

Brussels (near Central Station).

5. Required knowledge and experience

Required level and content of University graduate or equivalent by education experience.

Personal skills Mandatory: • Good analytical skills, eye for detail

  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Share ideas with colleagues and have a sense for team spirit
  • Able to work in an autonomous way

in eBanking

Good knowledge of MS-Word, MS-Excel,

Visio, MS-Outlook. Interest in e-banking

applications

Preferable: Practice knowledge of Mainframe environment

(TSO/ISPF, COBOL, IMS, DB2).

Functional experience

of projects Business experience in eBanking Preferable: • Electronic payments, reporting, contracting

  • Knowledge of ISABEL IBS5 and IBS6 is a plus

6. Objective of the job

  • work as a functional analyst within the MB Channels team, on an eBanking project
  • discuss and refine business requirements with end users representatives
  • translate user requirements into functional specifications for developers (including the external supplier)
  • create, organise and execute functional tests
  • assist in the organization of end-user tests
  • assist the project leader with the planning and follow up of the project
