1. Context of the mission

We are actively searching for a Technical Analyst – Programmer Mainframe for the domain Client reporting.

He/she will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below.

2. Period mission

Start Date : 1-Sep-2009. Duration : 4 months with possible extension.

3. Language requirement

Active knowledge of Dutch, French and English.

4. Localisation of the job

Brussels (near Central Station)

5. Required knowledge and experience

Required level and content of Professional bachelor or master degree education

Personal skills

Mandatory: Accurate, but pragmatic and result driven. Able to work independently and in team. Dynamic and flexible.

Preferable:

Business experience required

Mandatory: 1-3 years of professional experience in mainframe programming and technical analysis

Preferable: Knowledge of Client bank IT organisation or experience in another financial institution

Technical experience required

Mandatory: Software Development Methodology. Technical analysis. Mainframe development : TSO/ISPF, COBOL,

IMS , DB2, JCL. XML, XFB, MQ series MS-Word, MS-Excel, Visio, MS-Outlook.

Preferable: Mainframe development : APS/MFEE, Endevor, File-AID, Abend-AID Knowledge of doc generation tools (DOC1 or other) would be useful

Functional experience required

Mandatory: Preferable: Knowledge of bank domain “client reporting”.

Knowledge of document generation tools (DOC1 or other) could be a very useful surplus for the candidate, since the STaRS team covers mainframe development as well as DOC1 development.
