ITIL Expert (ref: 1364ITIL)

1. Context of the mission

In the frame of a existing project that impacts 150 people. Client is looking for an expert ITIL contractor.

2. Mission timeframe

Start date: ASAP Duration: 6 months with possible extension

3. Language requirements

English writing and reading skills plus French or Dutch speaking with a good understanding of the other language.

4. Mission location

Brussels, near North and Central Station.

5. Required knowledge and experience

Mandatory: -Motivated -Autonomous/quick learner -Team player

- Structured and pro-active -Dynamic, analytic, synthetic -Problem solver/Open minded -Excellent communication skills

Preferable:

Mandatory Ability to estimate budget, timing and phases required to implement the processes

Ability to transfer ITIL basics to users & managers

Participation in the implementation of the processes and the tools

Mandatory: o Preferably certified ITIL service manager

  1. o At least 5 years working experience in an ITIL environment.
    1. o Experience in the implementation of a service desk. -Preferably in at least 2 different companies.
    2. - Experience as manager of a service desk is a plus
  2. o Experience in the implementation of configuration management databases and processes

Preferable: o Knowledge and Certification in PRINCE2 is a plus

o Knowledge and Certification in CMMI is a plus

6. Mission objectives

  1. o Implement / Reposition the service desk related activities including incident, problem and change management processes.
  2. o Implement the Configuration Management process including the Configuration Management DataBase (CMDB)
  3. o Identify and help in the selection of tools supporting these processes.
